The Courageous Challenge advanced to the next level in 2020 when the UNG Corps of Cadets joined the mission and now with the 2024 event, Greek Life is rallied to the call for the biggest event in our history. Your support is vital to the sustained mission of reducing suicide throughout the North Georgia region. The 20 counties of the 9th Congressional District have the highest suicide rates in the state. Lumpkin has in the past been one of the highest. However, in the most recent year that rate dropped below the state average.
