The Courageous Challenge 2026

Empowering Communities to Stop Suicide

Courageous Challenge 2026

One Act of Courage Can Save a Life

Every day, someone is fighting a battle no one else can see.

Suicide continues to take fathers, daughters, veterans, students, friends, and teammates. But when someone recognizes the warning signs and steps in, a life can be saved.

That is the mission of

Stop Suicide USA.

The Courageous Challenge fuels our life-saving Intervene Challenge training, equipping everyday people with the skills to recognize a crisis and intervene before it’s too late.

Because of supporters like you, thousands of individuals across the country have been trained to act when someone’s life is on the line.

But the need is still urgent.
More people need to be trained.
More lives need someone willing to step in.

Your Support Makes the Difference

When you give, you help expand a growing network of people prepared to save lives—on campuses, in communities, and across the nation.

Your support means:

  • More suicide intervention training

  • More people prepared to recognize crisis

  • More lives saved

Your generous support makes our mission possible.

Our interventions include offering crisis counseling to families, conducting mental health workshops in schools, training first responders to recognize and respond to suicide risk, and creating safe environments through community outreach programs. Each of these efforts is made possible by your generosity, helping us save lives and foster hope.
